Embodying the innovative, multicultural spirit of Los Angeles, the exhibition explores the influence of Southern California's surf, skate, punk, graffiti, hot rod, lowrider, and lowbrow cultures. The Curiosity Cabinet of Charlotte Webb is committed to teaching ethical taxidermy through education, craftsmanship, and respect for animals. Our workshops are designed to educate participants about the art, history, and techniques of taxidermy in a welcoming, beginner-friendly environment.

This class is specifically focused on the proper techniques for a Rabbit Shoulder Mount.

All specimens used in our classes are ethically sourced, and no animals are harvested specifically for our workshops. We believe learning these traditional preservation techniques encourages an appreciation for wildlife, natural history, and responsible stewardship of animal resources.

Our goal is to provide an educational experience that emphasizes craftsmanship, ethics, respect, and the preservation of a centuries-old art form. We believe education fosters understanding, respect, and appreciation for the natural world.

These workshops provide an opportunity for the public to engage with natural history in a hands-on educational setting while learning a traditional skill that has long been used in museums, scientific collections, conservation, and artistic preservation.
