Julius Shulman: Desert Modern

The opening will include food, refreshments, live entertainment, a curator's talk and more! No photographer has captured the evolution of modern architecture in a more comprehensize way than the late Julius Shulman. This exhibit focuses on Shulman's work in Palm Springs, where movie stars and celebrities lived and architects integrated the desert landscape into their designs. This collection of approximately 100 color and black and white photographs features buildings by architects such as Richard Neutra, John Lautner, A. Quincy Jones and Albert Frey. The exhibition tour is organized by Curatorial Assistance, Pasadena, California.
